People from our five parish Gaudium et Spes Family of Parishes undergoing the OCIA process recently participated in a retreat at Detroit’s Solanus Casey Center. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process where adults, wanting to join the Catholic Church, complete their sacraments and learn more about Church teachings. Normally, these folks will fully enter the Church at the Easter Vigil at their own parishes in the Family. St. Pio has seven people going through OCIA classes which are conducted at the Family of Parishes level
