We are proud of St. Pio’s five candidates and Catechumens going through the OCIA process with others in our Gaudium et Spes Family. Recently the five underwent the Rite of Acceptance (pictured) at the 11 a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 1. This was the Rite where the five stood before the parish community along with their sponsors and stated that they want to become a member of the Catholic Church, and the community affirmed this desire. We encourage and pray for the five as they continue their journey to the Easter Vigil and full communion in the Church.
